- This just in: Domenica Macchia and Bella Brava part ways. The details.
- Restaurant deal: 3-course, $17 prix-fixe at Brasserie Cassis on Beach Drive in St. Pete from 5-7 p.m. daily. (Read review of Brasserie Cassis)
- Restaurant opening: New barbecue joint opened on North Armenia in Tampa, Holy Hog Barbecue. Brisket, pulled pork and ribs? I’m there.
- Restaurant opening: Twisted Cork opened this past weekend in St. Pete. It’s located at 3405 34th St. N.
- Restaurant opening: Pastabar, across from Baywalk in St. Pete (former location of L’Olivier Bistro), opened yesterday. They serve pasta (big shock), sandwiches, salads and appetizers for lunch and dinner.
- Restaurant deal: Fly Bar and Restaurant in downtown Tampa offers half-priced appetizers during Mug Club on Thursday nights from 10 pm ‘til closing.
- Restaurant closure: Teatro on Seventh, a restaurant in Tampa’s Centro Ybor complex, recently closed its doors. Really a shame that gorgeous space will go empty.
- Restaurant deal: Every Monday night, The Rack in Hyde Park serves up all-you-can-eat crab legs from 6-10 p.m. for $22.95.
- Restaurant deal: 717 South in Hyde Park has a 3-course meal deal for $25 until May 8th, including their tasty Asian Pot Roast and Miso and Sake Catch of the Day.
- Restaurant news: According to the St. Pete Times, Primi Urban Café in downtown St. Pete has a new chef.
