The oak and cherry drifts out of the glass, followed up by soft, sweet vanilla oak, black cherry, fig and bittersweet chocolate in the mouth. Enough leathery tannins make it interesting and give it some heft. Luscious and elegant. 4.5 stars out of 5. Sweetness=1 out of 10 (dry to sweet). $25
