From the Rhône region of France, where Grenache and syrah grapes originated, Parallèle 45 is named for the location of the vineyards on the 45th latitude. This blend of those two varietals emerges robust and meaty, dark cherry strewn with a coating of dust, fragrant plum and an acidic finish.4 stars out of 5. Sweetness=1 out of 10 (dry to sweet). $12

Where can I buy this wine here in Tampa?
Mark: I’ve seen it at ABC Fine Wines but you can probably find it at high end Publix (Publices?) and Total Wine. Ask for it… it’s pretty known.
