Deep copper to amber color. The nose is rich with Sherry, figs, prunes, and dates with accents of cigar, leather, dark chocolate, candied orange, caramel, and roasted walnuts. The palate echoes the nose offering a delicious explosion of fruit, toffee, brown baking spices, and cocoa. Wonderfully balanced and luxuriously textured showing obvious signs of great maturity without being buried in wood. This great old Whisky improves greatly with 30 minutes in the glass and a drop or two of water. A rare and noble malt.
that sounds awesome! i guess i’ll have to get a job so i can afford to quit drinking the glenlivet 15. 🙂
