Being a low-carb-aholic, I don’t drink much beer anymore. It’s a rare decadence allowed only when something incredible drips in my lap. Like last night. I gushed after discovering St. Feuillien Cuvée de Noël Belgian Abbey-Style Ale at The Independent in Seminole Heights ($8). Brewed by Brasserie St.-Feuillien in Belgium, this smooth, creamy and elegant beer is slightly fruity, herby, citrusy and frickin’ delicious. Has a soupçon of sweetness and a hint of hops. The medium-bodied crispness and bold taste of caramelized malts makes it easy to drink more than one.
