Wine review: Kim Crawford 2009 Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough

Kim Crawford Sauvignon BlancOverwhelming flavors, reminiscent of sucking on a key lime. Grapefruit and green herbs rush up the nose and onto the tongue. The acidity is almost too present — the wine isn’t as balanced or as smooth as other vintages. It’s difficult to drink more than one glass of this wine without consuming it with food to tame the tart. Long, citrus rind finish. Not a bad wine, but there are better for the price.
